Sponsoring possibilities for the OffShore Rib Rally 785

The Rib Rally is a media genetic growing European Watersports Event, where 20 Identical Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIB’s) will race several stages of 20 to 70 Nautical Miles during one week at an exotic location.

International teams of 2-4 persons will race against each other with their 7,85 meter long RIB’s, all powered by 250 HP Outboard Engines, reaching speeds up to about 95 kmph! Next to those heats, also endurance sports like running, swimming, kayaking and jetskiing will be integrated throughout the stages.

OffShore Rib Rally 785 – The European Tour and World Final

This year, ORR 785 organizes the Rib Rally European Tour, a series of 5 events in the whole of Europe. Different locations, different rallies, same thrill and same great images!

Due to the fact that there are no less then 5 events in the European Tour, a year round media coverage can and will be obtained, giving you the ultimate opportunity of having your brand connected to a growing solid watersport.

At the end of the year, the World Final will be organized, where this year most likely Qatar will be the hosting venue. The event will start at the end of November, 8 Days of extreme sports, adrenaline, teamwork and adventure will take place on the most beautiful locations.

This specific event creates multiple opportunities for branding and relationship incentives, as wide media/tv coverage will be produced around the event.

Teams and participation

The 20 competing teams are formed by 4 or 5 persons with a sportive and adventurous background. They do not have to be professional athletes, but their general condition should be on an okay level, as well as their attitude toward adventure. Several teams have located their own sponsors in order to finance their participation.  

Next to the participation itself, they also gain the right for stickering a double 2,50 meter part of “their” RIB, in order to create enormous exposure for their sponsors.
