Everybody can join!
Allthough from the images of the OffShore Rib Rally 785 you might think "another one of those events I can only dream of", the Rib Rally Events are there for everybody! You do not need to be a professional, or a team with a huge sponsor-budget.

Of course, the Rib Rally is not for the weak-hearted, the lazy couch-adventurers (allthough they can and will have fun watching the Rib Rally!). The Rib Rally is still a tough sporting event, in which talents, personal capacities on the nautic level and a physical condition which is at least "okay" are needed. But you do not have to be a pro-athlete to join the adventure.

Teams
The participation within the Rib Rally Events is a team-participation. For the European Tour Events, a team can consist of minimum 2, maximum 4 members (advised). For the World Final, minimum 4 team members are required, a 5th or even 6th member is strongly advised.

Age limit
Participation in any of the Rib Rally Events, is only opened for persons with a minimum age of 18 years old at the time of participation. If you do have a special request for a participation with someone with an age below 18, please contact the organization on the possibilities.

Rib Rally for both men and women
Both male and female participants are welcome within the Rib Rally Event. You can form a team of only guys, only girls, or a team with a combination, all is possible.

Licensing
You do not need to have a race-license or something to join the Rib Rally Events. The Team Captain is however required to have his or her Motor Boat License, either a license from a European country, or an international license.
