The Dutch Rib Rally Championshiop has been organized for a year now and we can proudly say that it is becoming a big success! As exciting a sport can be, the Rib Rally takes adrenaline and adventure to a new level, where teams are competing each other, and the striking elements of water and wind.
Dutch Championship The Rib Rally forms the core of the Dutch RIB scene. It is therefore no surprise, that in the last couple of years, the Rib Rally Events have developed themselves into the "Dutch Championship". An open championship, as we warmly welcome teams from other countries. In the first events, teams of English, Belgian and German nationalities were amongst the participants. Two events, one adrenaline rush, one Champion For 2010, the Dutch Rib Rally Championship consists of two Event, the Coastal Run in IJmuiden, held on the 10th of April, and the Scheveningen Triangle in The Hague, set for Sunday the 26th of September. Open Class and UniClass Unlike the World Rallies also organized by ORR 785, the Dutch Championship is an Open Class event. This means that anyone with a RIB from at least 6.50m and a minimum of 150hp can take part in the rallies! If you do not own a RIB there is also the possibility to rent one of the Ribeye 785’s from the organization. The teams will be divided into 4 different classes, depending on the size of their RIB and the type of engine they have. For more information on the various classes in the European Tour, click here.
