Charity RIB

In the 2010 season a special RIB will participate in the Rib Rally events; The Charity RIB. This remarkable RIB will be steered through the events by a varying team of Dutch celebrities. The RIB is specially stickered and can be sponsored from a multitude of small donations. At the end of the season, at the Scheveningen Triangle, the revenues of the RIB will be donated to two great charities foundations: Right to Play and Stichting Opkikker.

The Charity RIB will join in all five events of the European Tour and wil certainly stand out between the other RIBs! The celebrity team driving the RIB will vary throughout the season and will try to compete in the top of the pack as much as possible! However, the RIB participates purely for charity! The RIB is divided into multiple “sponsorboxes” in which a company’s name can be placed. Together these boxes form a finish-flag making the RIB a very striking appearance. You can already have your companies name on the boat for only € 500,00 ex VAT!

Creating opportunities and moments of happyness for the children Stichting Opkikker offers children with a long disease a chance to have “the best day of their life”. They organize special days called Opkikkerdagen for children and their parents to put their mind on something fun and forget about their disease for a while. A couple of times a year Stichting Opkikker organizes the Super Opkikker Dagen. These days host approximately 50 families and offer them a day they will never forget.

The revenues from the Charity RIB will be donated to two charities that both fight to give children around the world a better life; Right to Play and Stichting Opkikker. Right to Play is an International organization which puts their effort into developing sports and playing facilities for children around the world, thus improving the quality of their lives.
