With a second place on last year Rib Rally - Caribbean Edition, Team Captain Ron van de Brink has taken up the towel to get at least the same qualification on the complete European Tour. Taking some new, but not unknown teammembers into his crew, Maikel Neelen from the former aSRM Selectionteam.... Lets see how much speed they can reach outside the Caribbean waters... | Name: | Ron van den Brink | Ron is the captain of Team Brink / Neelen. He could be called a Ribber for sure. Doesn't matter how and with whom, as long as he will be on the water during the Rib Rally. First time participant on the Red Sea Rib Rally in 2007, he and his Jack's Casino took the title. But, could not keep that during the Caribbean in 08, where only a 4th place was possible. In 2009, a small revanche was made, with a 2nd place overall. But he is for sure eager to get back where he belongs: on the top podium! | | Function | Team Captain | | Age | 45 | | Profession | Electronics | | Hobies | Travelling, Watersports | | RIB Experience | Egypt 07, Texel 08, Carib 08, Scheveningen Carib 09 |
